Robert has fished for as long as he can remember. Inspired by family, driven by passion.”Where ever there is water, there are fish, let’s catch ’em”
To Robert Fishing is about an excellent sport and being close with nature.
Never to stop learning, exploring and educating. Mastering challenges and beating the odds with nothing more than your wits and skill.”It’s in my blood and bones and I wouldn’t want it any other way”.
Growing up with big catfish and northern pike, huge Zander and perch in Europe, Canada isn’t short to bring worthy opponents to the table. If it’s musky or walleye, lake trout, salmon or bass, panfish or catfish. Every species has a place in Roberts heart and “I will fish till the day I die.”

Catching my first fish at 9 and landing a pike, while fishing with my Father, is what got me interested in the sport of fishing. Fishing relentless and not understanding why some days were hot with fish while others were not is what turned me onto joining the BASS Nation and Bassmaster’s club. I was fortunate to have chosen a club with an abundance of fishing biologists so listening about the habitat, structure and techniques of fishing is what I learnt. Having the thrill of being in a competitive situation, racing against other anglers and the clock, is the reason I enjoy participating in tournaments.
This year I am a proud member of the St. Catharines Bassmaster’s and I look forward to a great season out on the water. I have recently started writing my own fishing articles and there will be more to come. I am staff with the Great Canadian Female Anglers, a group dedicated to empowering other female anglers across Canada.
Having being inspired from my hobby as a tournament angler, I created Eclipse and design and create UPF 50+ apparel for sun protection on the water. Not only is this high performance apparel comfortable and functional but it protects myself from skin cancer. I have partnered with the Canadian Skin Cancer Foundation to help educate the public on skin cancer prevention and a proceed of sales goes back to this great foundation.
New for this year is my involvement with Pink Fishing, an organization dedicated to breast cancer awareness. This disease has not only affected my own model on my website but most recently my family members. I will be wearing Pink Fishing on my jersey this year with pride as I remember those affected.
I look forward to the upcoming tournament season and the OBN Qualifier for 2015 for BASS Nation.

Dean Schenk grew up fishing with his father and grandfather in Northern Manitoba where he learned patience and respect in a boat on the water with a fishing rod in his hand. Now living in Weyburn Saskatchewan near some of the best walleye and pike fishing he has taken his passion for fishing to the next level spending every possible moment on the water and ice. Many times on the water with his 3 year old son teaching him the same way he learned. Dean recently started fishing walleye tournaments but still loves the chase for multiple species including perch, pike, trout, grayling, and largemouth bass. Always learning and getting better with every cast and sharing his experiences with fellow anglers that also exist to fish.
Becky has been an avid angler for as long as She can remember. She still has Her first fishing rod that her Dad gave her on her4th birthday hanging on the wall. She used to sneak away from chores just to throw a line in the river that ran through the back of her family farm. She sure didn’t catch anytrophies in that little stream, but oh oh…She was hooked.
Years later, after fishing in & around southern Ontario, She had the opportunity to move to Minnesota. While there She was able to truly experience some world class Walleye, Bass & Pike fishing. She was lucky enough to be able to be on the water or ice 4-5 times a week, 10 months out of the year! When She moved back, She brought with her a wealth of knowledge from so many wonderful people met along the way. Two years ago She started tournament fishing but 2012 was her rookie season competing in the CSFL BM100 division. Becky’s true passion is bass fishing. As far as She is concerned, there’s no better way to spend a day then flippin’ & pulling big bucketmouths out the weeds! When not chasing bass, Becky is out on the water chasing trophy Walleye, Pike & Musky!
Becky loves to talk fishing. She comes from a family of Auctioneers, so thats where She gets her gift of gab. The outdoors is her passion, She loves to share her stories with everyone She meets.

I have been fishing for as long as I can remember. I spent my youth in Hastings Ontario fishing the banks of Rice lake at my aunt and uncles trailer park. My uncle loved to fish. He taught me to love and respect the fishery at a very young age.On my 13th birthday my parents bought me my first boat. That 12′ Aluminum with a 6 HP Merc was where my obsession began. Every second I had was spent on the water. And every dollar that I made spent on tackle. That part hasn’t changed much lol. I fished my first tournament with my Uncle at 14 years of age. The Bob Izumi Reel Fishin Competition lol. I currently fish about a dozen events per season. 3 kids has made it difficult to a contender but I absolutely live for the competition. I fish CSFL events a a few other local tournaments. I have always qualified for the classic. I love to catch Bass! No question! But my true love is Muskie fishing. I can’t really explain it. The things that I see on the water.. The chase. The raw power that these fish exhibit keeps my heart pounding an me coming back for more. When I am not fishing tournaments I am full throttle Muskies 🙂 right to the bitter end of the season dogging icebergs.
